-According to the Concord Monitor Hillary Clinton has donated $190,000 to democrats running for office in several other states. Many may think that the New York senator is playing ahead for her plans to run for president in 2008 but her spokeswoman Anne Lewis stated, "Donations were part of a larger effort to help Democratic candidates for governor in 2006"(concordmonitor.com). Keeping this in mind Clinton is sure to get a campaign boost in New York as well as the rest of the nation showing that she is willing to help out other democrats.
-On another note Hillary Clinton has stated she is in favor of U.S. borders secured with a wall or fence, possibly surveillance drones and infrared cameras (bradenton.com). This should help Clinton out in the senate but may damage her in the polls. Although it is brave to step out and say something about the new illegal immigrant controversy she may be soon biting her tongue.
